The UFC is in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday, October 18, for a solid UFC Vancouver Fight Night card. The main event sees Reinier de Ridder<\/a> take on Brendan Allen<\/a> in a pivotal fight at middleweight.<\/p>\n UFC Vancouver: MMA Betting Picks and Odds Insight<\/p>\n Below, I’ll share my UFC Vancouver predictions, including my favorite pick, an underdog, a prop and a two-fighter parlay. All UFC odds<\/a> are via the DraftKings Sportsbook and are accurate as of the post date of this article.\u00a0<\/p>\n Weight Class: Bantamweight<\/p>\n Aiemann Zahabi<\/a> (13-2) vs. Marlon Vera<\/a> (23-10-1)<\/p>\n Aiemann Zahabi<\/a> gets a chance to be a top-10 bantamweight at UFC Vancouver, and I love him as a small favorite here against Marlon Vera<\/a>.<\/p>\n Zahabi is coming off a quality win over Jose Aldo<\/a> and is on a six-fight winning streak, over which he’s looked very impressive. Vera, meanwhile, is on a two-fight losing streak and hasn’t shown a whole lot of late.<\/p>\n Although Vera has been fighting a higher level of competition, Zahabi is the better striker, as Vera’s striking defense is an issue. Simply put, he’s there to be hit. Zahabi should also be able to clinch Vera up against the fence and win the minutes to get a signature victory here.<\/p>\n UFC Vancouver Bet: Aiemann Zahabi<\/a> (-125)<\/p>\n Cash in on the best sportsbook promos<\/a> available for MMA betting<\/a>. Jourdain is 3-4 in his last seven as he has been inconsistent, while Grant won his last fight as a big underdog and the fight prior as a pick’em.<\/p>\n Grant should be the more active striker on the feet and land the more damaging shots. Grant can also mix in his wrestling as Jourdain has struggled with wrestling and grappling in his UFC career, which will lead to the upset win for Grant.<\/p>\n UFC Vancouver Bet: Davey Grant<\/a> (+142)<\/p>\n Check out DraftKings to bet on <\/a>MMA Odds<\/a> and use the <\/a>DraftKings promo code<\/a> for a great welcome offer.<\/p>\n Weight Class: Lightweight<\/p>\n Matt Frevola<\/a> (11-5-1) vs. Kyle Nelson<\/a> (16-6-1)<\/p>\n For my prop at UFC Vancouver, I’m taking the under 2.5 rounds in the Matt Frevola<\/a> vs. Kyle Nelson<\/a> fight at lightweight.<\/p>\n Frevola and Nelson are all-action fighters, and this line being set at 2.5 rounds is a surprise. I thought it would be lined at 1.5 instead, as I expect a first-round finish here.<\/p>\n Both Frevola and Nelson have KO power, but both of their chins have been an issue. Frevola has either been finished or gotten a finish in the first round in five of his last six fights. Nelson, meanwhile, has back-to-back fights ending in the first round.<\/p>\n Expect Frevola and Nelson to come out aggressive and for someone to get knocked out early here.<\/p>\n UFC Vancouver Bet: Matt Frevola<\/a>–Kyle Nelson<\/a> under 2.5 rounds (-160)<\/p>\n Check out on one of the top sports betting apps<\/a> when you sign up with the FanDuel promo code<\/a> for all of your MMA betting.<\/p>\n Weight Class: Middleweight<\/p>\n Danny Barlow<\/a> (9-1) vs Djorden Santos<\/a> (10-2) For my parlay at UFC Vancouver, I’m taking two middleweight fights, as I like Danny Barlow<\/a> to get his hand raised and Reinier de Ridder<\/a> to get the win in the main event.<\/p>\n Barlow is set to take on Djorden Santos<\/a>, and this is a great spot for Barlow to get back on track. Barlow was upset by Sam Patterson<\/a> back in March and now takes on Santos, who I don’t believe is UFC-caliber. The American is the much better striker, and he should be able to piece up Santos and get a TKO win early in the fight.<\/p>\n To close out the parlay, I like de Ridder to beat Allen. De Ridder is the better grappler, as he should control the pace and control him on the ground.
