With Buffalo losing for a second straight week as a solid favourite, not only have the\u00a0<\/a>Super Bowl odds<\/a>\u00a0shifted dramatically, but the\u00a0NFL MVP odds<\/a>\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

The Bills still hold the best odds at +600 as they head into a bye week, but their odds to win the Super Bowl were +400 just a couple of weeks ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As for the MVP odds, Bills quarterback Josh Allen is second at +275, which is a far cry from his league-leading -105 odds at the beginning of this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Below, I\u2019ll cast my predictions for the games this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers<\/p>\n

While the Steelers are 4-1 and the better of these two teams, neither offence has wowed me this season. That said, new Bengals QB Joe Flacco at least looked serviceable against the Green Bay Packers, throwing for 219 yards and two touchdowns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With this spread at +5.5, I\u2019ll take the home team Bengals, but I predict the Steelers win.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Bengals +5.5 (-110)<\/p>\n

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Rams<\/p>\n

This game is in London, a second home for the Jaguars, who have played there about a dozen times.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Jaguars allow over 256 passing yards per game. Sure, the Rams may be without star wide receiver Puka Nacua, but they still have Davante Adams to turn to.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Rams -3 (-102)<\/p>\n

New York Jets vs. Carolina Panthers<\/p>\n

Panthers QB Bryce Young is just 1-17 in his career on the road. Yes, this is the Jets, the worst team in the NFL, but that\u2019s not a trend I can back.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll take the Jets +1.5.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Jets +1.5 (-110)<\/p>\n

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders<\/p>\n

The Chiefs get WR Rashee Rice back (after\u00a0serving\u00a0a six-game suspension) and face Raiders\u2019 QB Geno Smith, who leads the NFL in interceptions with 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So, they\u2019re getting their No. 1 receiver back, facing a turnover-prone QB, and are also at home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yeah, I\u2019ll take the Chiefs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Chiefs -12 (-110)<\/p>\n

Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins<\/p>\n

While the Browns have the superior defence by a long shot, it\u2019s hard to be excited about this Browns offence with Dillon Gabriel at the helm, completing 57.3 per cent of his passes and averaging 4.8 yards per attempt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll begrudgingly take the Dolphins, but I wouldn\u2019t be shocked to see Shedeur Sanders make a cameo if Gabriel continues to struggle.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Dolphins +3 (-115)<\/p>\n

Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots<\/p>\n

The Titans fired head coach Brian Callahan, and now they\u2019re hosting the Patriots in what I\u2019d refer to as the \u201cMike Vrabel revenge game,\u201d as this is his first time back in Tennessee as a head coach.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Patriots win this one by double digits.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Patriots -7 (-110)<\/p>\n

Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints<\/p>\n

Saints QB Spencer Rattler has been playing better lately, but the Bears are on a hot streak, winning three straight games against the Cowboys, Raiders, and Commanders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Saints average just 18.5 points per game,\u00a0which is fifth-least in the NFL.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll continue riding the Bears\u2019 hot streak.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Minnesota Vikings vs. Philadelphia Eagles<\/p>\n

While we don\u2019t yet know who the Vikings’ starting QB will be, it\u2019s hard for me to back the Eagles right now, especially as a road favourite.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Vikings allow just 157.6 passing yards per game (second-fewest in the NFL).\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Vikings +2 (-110)<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Indianapolis Colts<\/p>\n

The Chargers primarily play Cover-3, and Colts QB Daniel Jones has dominated that coverage, completing 79.2 per cent of his passes for 511 yards (10.6 yards per attempt) and a touchdown.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll take them +1.5 on the road.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Colts +1.5 (-110)<\/p>\n

Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants<\/p>\n

Giants QB Jaxson Dart has beaten the Chargers and Eagles, but this Broncos defence, on the road, is a different animal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Giants\u2019 offensive line has allowed 88 pressures this season (tied for fifth), while the Broncos have produced 106 pressures this season, the most in the NFL.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This could be a tough outing for the Giants and Dart.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Broncos -7 (-105)<\/p>\n

Arizona Cardinals vs. Green Bay Packers<\/p>\n

The Cardinals are coming off a tough loss on the road against the Colts with Jacoby Brissett under centre.<\/p>\n

For this game, it appears Kyler Murray will be back in the lineup, but he\u2019ll likely be without WR Marvin Harrison Jr., who suffered a concussion in Week 6.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Yes, 6.5 points is a lot for a home team to lay, but I\u2019ll lean toward the Packers slightly as they have the more trustworthy offence and QB.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Packers -6.5 (-110)<\/p>\n

Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders<\/p>\n

I expect this game to be a shootout. Both teams are inside the top seven in points and top 10 in passing yards allowed per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll take the home team, the Cowboys +2.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Cowboys +2 (-110)<\/p>\n

San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons<\/p>\n

The Falcons are coming off a massive win on Monday Night Football against the Bills.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Additionally, they allow just 139.4\u00a0passing yards (least) and\u00a013.8 receiving yards to running backs (least) per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

These are important metrics, especially against a 49ers offence that runs through RB Christian McCaffrey in the passing game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Falcons +2 (-110)<\/p>\n

Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/p>\n

The Lions have arguably the best offence in the NFL, but the Buccaneers aren\u2019t far behind.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield is fourth in passing yards (1,539), third in passing touchdowns (12), and has just one interception.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is too many points; I\u2019ll take the Buccaneers on the road.\u00a0<\/p>\n

PREDICTION: Buccaneers +5.5 (-110)<\/p>\n

Seattle Seahawks vs. Houston Texans<\/p>\n

The Texans are coming out of a bye week, and just before that, they put up 44 points against a flailing Ravens team.<\/p>\n

Now, they\u2019re on the road against a Seahawks defence that has 99 pressures (second). Under pressure, Texans QB C.J. Stroud is completing 59.5 per cent of his passes for 216 yards, 5.1 yards per attempt, and two interceptions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
