On today\u2019s Young and the Restless (Thursday, October 16, 2025), tragedy strikes the Newman family when Noah\u2019s accident is revealed to be a potential hit-and-run, forcing doctors to place him in a medically induced coma. Back in Genoa City, Phyllis confronts Danny and Christine, vowing their trip to the altar is destined for failure. Meanwhile, in Boston, a heartbroken Tessa faces a difficult choice after Mariah pushes her away for good.<\/p>\n

Last Episode<\/p>\n

\"Y&R<\/a><\/p>\n

On the last episode of Y&R, Noah underwent emergency surgery<\/a> after a horrific accident while Claire stood firm when Kyle appeared unexpectedly at her hotel in LA.<\/p>\n

Crimson Lights<\/p>\n

Danny and Christine talk over coffee. Danny thinks Christine picking out her dresses is taking too long; she should wear a tour t-shirt instead!<\/p>\n

\"ChristineCBS<\/p>\n

They laugh and kiss. Christine says they still have their bachelorette and bachelor parties to get to.<\/p>\n

Danny wishes his son could join them\u2026 Daniel is down in Boston with Tessa, but he\u2019s sure he\u2019ll make it back for the wedding.<\/p>\n

Christine says they still haven\u2019t gotten back some RSVPs.<\/p>\n

\"PhyllisCBS<\/p>\n

Phyllis sashays in and asks if they got her RSVP. She answers her own question. Of course they didn\u2019t, she wasn\u2019t invited, in fact she didn\u2019t even know about the wedding!<\/p>\n

Danny says he wanted to tell her about the wedding in person, but she\u2019s been difficult to pin down with her Cane Ashby business.<\/p>\n

Phyllis says she\u2019s been working hard and her career is taking off now. It\u2019s exhilarating!<\/p>\n

\"DannyCBS<\/p>\n

Christine wants her to stay away from their wedding.<\/p>\n

Phyllis scoffs. She wouldn\u2019t want to be there to see Cricket in a horrible dress anyhow! <\/p>\n

Danny tells her to accept his apology for not inviting her to the wedding and let it go.<\/p>\n

\"PhyllisCBS<\/p>\n

Phyllis sits down and laughs. Of course she\u2019ll let it go!<\/p>\n

Christine says she\u2019s committed to her relationship with Danny lasting forever.<\/p>\n

Phyllis doubts it, because Danny will kick \u201cthe bug\u201d off the tour bus soon enough.<\/p>\n

\"ChristineCBS<\/p>\n

Christine says that\u2019s rich, coming from a woman who\u2019s never had a lasting relationship with anyone and who\u2019s spent most of her life alone.<\/p>\n

Phyllis says she\u2019s fine and she\u2019s moved on.<\/p>\n

Christine invites her to continue moving on.<\/p>\n

\"Phyllis.\"CBS<\/p>\n

Phyllis says she came there in good faith to wish them a happy marriage, but all she\u2019s gotten is hostility. She thinks Christine doesn\u2019t have what it takes to keep Danny happy.<\/p>\n

Danny tells her that\u2019s enough, but Christine wants Phyllis to continue spewing her venom.<\/p>\n

Phyllis says she doesn\u2019t think they\u2019ll even make it to the church. She reminds them that she was there when their first marriage crashed and burned.<\/p>\n

\"DannyCBS<\/p>\n

Christine says they\u2019ve changed and grown since then. She talks about how Danny is always there for her, and Danny agrees; he\u2019s always there for her, too, and they always will be. They kiss.<\/p>\n

Phyllis thinks they\u2019re putting on a better show than Danny does when he\u2019s onstage. She thinks they\u2019re trying too hard. She gets up, grabs her coffee to go, and leaves.<\/p>\n

Danny laughs. He says Christine is the rock star; he can\u2019t believe how well she handled Phyllis! He knows Phyllis is trying to stir doubt about what they have together. They love each other more than they ever have, and they\u2019re going to have the most amazing wedding ever! They laugh and kiss.<\/p>\n

\"DannyCBS<\/p>\n

Christine agrees. He\u2019s right, Phyllis only tears others down to make herself feel better. She says she\u2019s treasured every moment they\u2019ve spent together. They\u2019re together again despite all the obstacles because they\u2019re built to last. She thinks they should put that on a billboard so Phyllis will have to see it every time she drives by. She\u2019s looking forward to becoming Mrs. Danny Romalotti!<\/p>\n

They leave for their stag and doe parties.<\/p>\n

A Visiting Room in Boston<\/p>\n

Tessa meets with Mariah in the visiting room. She thanks her for agreeing to see her and says she misses her. She\u2019s glad that Mariah wasn\u2019t ready to see her the first couple of times she dropped by, but this is an improvement! She says Mariah is beautiful.<\/p>\n

\"MariahCBS<\/p>\n

Mariah says she\u2019s anything but beautiful, but Tessa lights up the room.<\/p>\n

Tessa asks if staying inside is helping her. She thinks Mariah might be getting worse.<\/p>\n

Mariah doesn\u2019t say anything as Tessa tries to entertain her with some playing cards.<\/p>\n

\"MariahCBS<\/p>\n

Tessa says they can play Aria\u2019s favorite game so that when she comes home, Mariah can play with her. She says that she\u2019s going to perform the song she wrote with Daniel and Danny\u2019s wedding; Mariah has to come and see it!<\/p>\n

Mariah shakes her head. \u201cThat\u2019s not going to happen.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tessa lays down a Queen of Hearts and says it reminds her of Mariah before \u201cthis\u201d happened. Now she\u2019s lost, and it\u2019s breaking her heart. She feels that this therapy is hurting her more than it\u2019s helping her. She\u2019s going to do something that Mariah doesn\u2019t want; she\u2019s going to get her out and take her home!<\/p>\n

\"TessaCBS<\/p>\n

Mariah says that this is part of the process. She has to dig through the muck that brought her here in order to make it through the other side. She has to do it alone, and she has to do it here.<\/p>\n

Tessa says they\u2019re married, and she can\u2019t keep coming back here and do nothing.<\/p>\n

Mariah agrees. Tessa should just not come to see her anymore.<\/p>\n

\"TessaCBS<\/p>\n

Tessa cries as she hugs Mariah.<\/p>\n

Mariah pulls away. \u201cI can\u2019t.\u201d She leaves the room.<\/p>\n

Tessa sits down and cries. She tears the Queen of Hearts in half.<\/p>\n

\"ACBS<\/p>\n

Noah\u2019s Hospital Room<\/p>\n

Sharon talks to a bandaged Noah, letting him know that she and Nick are there for him.<\/p>\n

\"NickCBS<\/p>\n

Nick tells Noah they should get out of there and do something fun.<\/p>\n

They talk back and forth for a while, but Noah doesn\u2019t respond.<\/p>\n

Nick tells him they need him to get better.<\/p>\n

\"ACBS<\/p>\n

Sharon cries and wonders if Noah is hearing them.<\/p>\n

Nick reassures her that it helps to hear their voices. His phone rings, and he answers. It\u2019s Victor, Nikki, and Victoria on speaker. They send their love and ask for updates. Nick tells them what\u2019s happened and that they\u2019re at his bedside.<\/p>\n

A doctor enters, and Sharon asks if Noah is going to survive.<\/p>\n

\"TheCBS<\/p>\n

Nick tells his parents that he\u2019ll call them back and update them. The doctor asks to speak outside, and they head into the corridor.<\/p>\n

The doctor says there is swelling on the brain, and they recommend inducing a coma to reduce the swelling.<\/p>\n

Sharon wails that this is Cassie all over again.<\/p>\n

\"SharonCBS<\/p>\n

Nick explains that they lost a child in similar circumstances, but tells the doctor to do whatever it takes to save their son.<\/p>\n

The doctor agrees and heads into the room.<\/p>\n

Sharon questions whether it\u2019s best to have Noah put into a coma. The nurse comes by and gives her a bag containing Noah\u2019s personal belongings. Sharon opens the bag and pulls out a phone, a wallet, a billfold, and the watch they gave Noah for graduation.<\/p>\n

\"TheCBS<\/p>\n

Nick reads the inscription on the watch. \u201cTo a bright future and a deserving young man. Love mom & dad.\u201d He prays for the strength to get through this. They can\u2019t lose him! He promises Sharon they\u2019ll make it through this. He excuses himself to call his parents and moves into the corridor.<\/p>\n

Victor answers and puts him on speakerphone. He says that he or Nikki will be there at the hospital as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Nick tells them that Noah is being put into a coma to protect his brain from swelling. He needs his father to find the best brain surgeon on the planet, and he wants his mother to stay there and support Victor; if things change, they can fly out to see Noah and provide support. He promises to keep them updated and disconnects the call. He heads back in to see Sharon.<\/p>\n

\"NickCBS<\/p>\n

Sharon has pulled herself together a bit and reminisces about hopeful and happy times they had in their past.<\/p>\n

A detective comes into the room and tells them that he\u2019s investigating Noah\u2019s crash.<\/p>\n

The detective says that there was a witness\u2026 Another vehicle might have run Noah\u2019s vehicle off the road and kept going!<\/p>\n

\"DetectiveCBS<\/p>\n

Newman Ranch<\/p>\n

Nikki and Victor want to leave right away for LA to be there for Noah, Nick, and Sharon.<\/p>\n

\"NikkiCBS<\/p>\n

Victoria tells her parents that she thinks it might be wise to wait until they hear more from the hospital.<\/p>\n

Nikki thinks that she doesn\u2019t have a good feeling about it; she just wishes someone else from the family was there!<\/p>\n

Victoria reminds her that Claire is in LA. She sends Claire a text about Noah. She sits down with Nikki and says that Noah has to make it\u2026 She can\u2019t stand going to another funeral.<\/p>\n

Nikki promises Noah will make it.<\/p>\n
