On Sunday, NASCAR raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was the opening race in the Round of 8 and William Byron saw himself at the front of the field all day.<\/p>\n
Toward the end of the race, the lapped car of Ty Dillon was on the brakes and heading for the pit lane. Byron, running 2nd was not aware and drove right into the back of Dillon.<\/p>\n
Today, the CEO of Kaulig Racing commented, \u201cIf you\u2019re sitting at a stop light and you get hit in the back-end, are you going to take blame that the car behind you hit you?\u201d<\/p>\n
Hear from Kaulig Racing CEO<\/a><\/p>\n However, days after the incident, there\u2019s been a personnel change at Kaulig Racing\u2026<\/p>\n Spotter fired<\/p>\n Joe White is the spotter for Ty Dillon and the No. 10 Kaulig Racing entry. Today, he arrived at Talladega Superspeedway to discover he had been fired.<\/p>\n Only three races remain in the season.<\/p>\n White was already due for a new position in 2026. He was not going to be Dillon\u2019s spotter next season. However, until today, he had expected to remain with the team in 2026 in another fashion. <\/p>\n \u201cGot to Talladega. Parked the bus, got fired,\u201d\u00a0White posted via X<\/a>. \u201cIn an Uber to the airport to go home for the weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n He clarified, \u201cAlso, to be clear, it was already determined that I would not be spotting for Ty next year, but that I would still be with Kaulig in some fashion.
