Girls Frontier League soccer from Watertown High, the Cyclones hosting Indian River.<\/p>\n
Wolves strike first when Julia De La Cruz comes up with the loose ball and dents the net, Indian River on top 1-nothing.<\/p>\n
A bit later, the Wolves add to their lead when Meghan Jones takes the nice feed and splits the pipes, 2-nothing Wolves.<\/p>\n
Indian River goes on to beat Watertown 7-3.<\/p>\n
Under the lights in Dextr, General Brown meets Lowville in another girls\u2019 Frontier League soccer battle.<\/p>\n
2nd half, 1-nothing Lowville when Veronica Ryan redirects the cross and rips yarn, 2-nothing Red Raiders.<\/p>\n
Samantha Reynolds would record the shutout in goal for Lowville.<\/p>\n
Red Raiders blank General Brown 3-nothing.<\/p>\n
In Sackets Harbor, the Patriots are hosting IHC in another girls Frontier League soccer matchup.<\/p>\n
Only 1 goal in the 1st half, Elliana Brooks connects, putting the Patriots on top 1-nothing at the half.<\/p>\n
But Anna Stacy would score in the 2nd half to tie it and in overtime to win it for the Cavaliers.<\/p>\n
IHC beats Sackets Harbor 2-1 in overtime.<\/p>\n
NAC GIRLS soccer action, it\u2019s Canton at Potsdam.<\/p>\n
Canton quickly grabbed the lead when Kailin Backus fired off the goaltender\u2019s hand and into the net in the third minute. 1-0 Golden Bears.<\/p>\n
Four minutes later, Olivia Francey, on the charge, also ripped yarn. 2-0 Canton.<\/p>\n
On a corner kick, in the scrum, JV call-up Mary Sergi redirected the third goal.<\/p>\n
On a partial break, Potsdam\u2019s Jilliana Sullivan gets a shot on net, but keeper Callie Tebo scoops up one of her eight saves.<\/p>\n
On a Potsdam turnover, Jenna Larrabee set up Backus, who scooted behind the defense and scored at close range. 4-0 Bears.<\/p>\n
On Backus\u2019 dropback feed, Elena Abplanalp scored the game\u2019s final goal.<\/p>\n
Canton blanks Potsdam 5-nothing.<\/p>\n
Men\u2019s college soccer under the lights at JCC, the Cannoneers hosting Cayuga.<\/p>\n
Cayuga would control play in the 1st half, with Cannoneers goalie Karim Saleh busy the first 45 minutes.<\/p>\n
Cayuga would take a 1-nothing lead to the half and score 3 more in the 2nd half, beating JCC by a final score of 4-nothing.<\/p>\n
