Malayalam actress Archana Kavi has tied the knot with Rick Varghese and\u00a0opened up about how their relationship blossomed through honesty, shared experiences, and unwavering support.<\/p>\n

Archana Kavi, best known for her breakout role as Kunjimalu in \u2018Neelathamara\u2019, has tied the knot, marking a joyful new chapter in her life. The 35-year-old actress, who recently returned to the screen with \u2018Identity\u2019 after a decade-long break, revealed details about her relationship in a candid new interview with television host Dhanya Varma.<\/p>\n

Archana, who has always been open about her personal journey, including her divorce and battle with clinical depression<\/a>, spoke warmly about her husband, Rick Varghese. \u201cI met him on a dating app while my home was being constructed in Kannur. I was on the app just to pass the time and had no intention of dating. But with him, right from the beginning, we were discussing big things. It felt as though some other force had brought us together,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The actress went on to explain how the connection deepened through honesty and understanding. \u201c\u201cI shared everything with him, including my traumas. This was a strategy I used to follow. I know it\u2019s not ideal, but I used to tell the person I was dating all my bad habits. I wanted to see if they could handle the nonsense I was bringing into the relationship,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNowadays, people often don\u2019t understand the importance of mental health. They might say it\u2019s normal and promise to be there during a breakdown, but in most cases, they leave when faced with it. But with Rick, his words and actions truly matched. That\u2019s what made him different,\u201d she added.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her words come shortly after she shared a cryptic post on social media that read, \u201cI can proudly say that I chose the right man in this worst generation. I wish this for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anchor Dhanya Varma congratulated Archana on Instagram, sharing pictures from what appeared to be the wedding ceremony. The post, which also included a teaser clip from her interview with Archana, was later deleted, seemingly to wait for the actress\u2019s official confirmation.<\/p>\n

In the interview, Archana also reflected on her emotional journey and the qualities that drew her to Rick. \u201cMy father used to treat me and my mother so well. He was particular about creating special moments with us. And Rick is the only man who said, \u2018a daughter should be treated as a princess.\u2019 And he treats me so well \u2013 like I\u2019ve never been treated before,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She recounted an unpleasant experience from a previous relationship before meeting Rick. \u201cI had met another guy, and it had reached a serious stage \u2013 even to the point of meeting parents. His mother told me she wanted to meet me alone. So I went, and when I met her, she went crazy on me. She said, \u2018Other than your looks, I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything else to give my son. We are a very aristocratic family. Your family and my family are different.\u2019 But I dealt with it\u201d Archana said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith Rick, however, he said, \u2018You are not dealing with my parents. My parents are my responsibility. I will deal with it.\u2019 And his parents are the sweetest people. He was raised by the right people,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Archana\u2019s first marriage to comedian Abish Mathew in 2016 ended in 2021 after nearly five years together. The actress has previously spoken about how the separation affected her mental health and how it shaped the last decade of her life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
