Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a> is calling BS on an unauthorized biography about her life which came out this summer.<\/p>\n

Asked if she\u2019d read the gossip anthology, \u201cGwyneth: The Biography,\u201d the actor gave British Vogue<\/a> a curt and cutting, \u201cOh, God no.\u201d<\/p>\n

Released in July, author Amy Odell\u2019s 448-page tome draws from interviews with 200 sources \u2015 but was researched, written and published with zero involvement from Paltrow herself. Despite its dubious origins, outlets were happy to milk the manuscript<\/a> for headlines<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While the Oscar winner told Vogue she wasn\u2019t going to dignify the book with a read, her husband, television producer Brad Falchuk, volunteered to skim it and report back.<\/p>\n

His review was ruthless, according to Paltrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo my husband flicked through it, just because I was like: \u2018What is in this?\u2019\u201d she revealed. \u201cHe said, \u2018It\u2019s as if somebody put in a prompt in ChatGPT and said: mine every Daily Mail article and write a biography about Gwyneth Paltrow.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

For Paltrow, the most frustrating part of the bunk bio was how it minimized her actual accomplishments in favor of tabloid fodder.<\/p>\n

Paltrow also called the project \u201csexist,\u201d noting how male moguls\u2019 stories get serious literary treatment while the lives of powerful women are too often reduced to salacious fluff.<\/p>\n
