Rosie O\u2019Donnell name-dropped Keanu Reeves as \u201cone of [her] worst\u201d talk show guests.<\/p>\n

While the former \u201cRosie O\u2019Donnell Show\u201d host did not mean to throw the A-list actor \u201cunder the bus\u201d during her \u201cSam Pang Tonight\u201d appearance<\/a> Monday evening, she detailed why Reeves is \u201cnot good\u201d in on-air interviews.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the guy,\u201d the 63-year-old clarified of their 1997 sit-down interview<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s so sweet, he looks gorgeous, I love all his movies, but he would not answer a question.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 63-year-old told \u201cSam Pang Tonight\u201d viewers on Monday that the actor \u201cwould not answer\u201d questions. Sam Pang Tonight\/Youtube<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d say, \u2018So, Keanu, how\u2019s it going? How are you feeling?\u2019 [He\u2019d respond] \u2018Good.\u2019 We were live. We couldn\u2019t re-tape,\u201d O\u2019Donnell recalled.<\/p>\n

\u201cI finally said after three minutes, \u2018You know, Keanu, it is a talk show. You have to talk.’\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell, who doubled down on Reeves, 61, being \u201ca lovely man and a good-hearted guy,\u201d noted that the \u201cJohn Wick\u201d star<\/a> \u201cdid come back\u201d onto her show in 2001.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo he got the hang of it,\u201d the Emmy winner quipped.<\/p>\n

During Reeves\u2019 first appearance on O\u2019Donnell\u2019s eponymous show, she did, in fact, call him out about not opening up enough.<\/p>\n

When the musician laughed at one of O\u2019Donnell\u2019s questions, she quipped, \u201cSorry, but you know it\u2019s a talk show. We\u2019ve got to ask questions.\u201d<\/p>\n

She noted that Reeves \u201cdid come back\u201d on the \u201cRosie O\u2019Donnell Show\u201d in 2001 and had \u201cthe hang of it\u201d by then. Warner Bros.<\/p>\n

The former \u201cView\u201d host<\/a> went on to ask, \u201cYou don\u2019t do a lot of these shows do you? Do you hate them?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not comfortable with them, but they\u2019re fun. It\u2019s alright,\u201d Reeves replied, to which O\u2019Donnell offered him a snack or toy.<\/p>\n

YouTube users praised O\u2019Donnell for putting the \u201cintroverted\u201d star \u201cat ease\u201d during the rest of the 10-minute chat.<\/p>\n

One wrote, \u201cI like how [she] changed her strategy after knowing Keanu was uncomfortable being asked that much.\u201d<\/p>\n
