Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> and Matt Rogers<\/a> made one lucky Today<\/a> fan\u2019s dream come true.<\/p>\n

Last week, Bush Hager announced that fans could apply to join her as a cohost<\/a> on Today With Jenna & Friends in celebration of Today\u2018s first-ever Fan Fest<\/a> celebration. \u201cI am so excited because we\u2019re gonna create a whole show around you, and we want you to be a part of it,\u201d she shared on October 8.<\/p>\n

At the top of the show\u2019s Thursday, October 16, episode, Bush Hager revealed that a winner had been selected. \u201cWe had submissions from across the country, but one really stood out,\u201d she told viewers. \u201cShe\u2019s a clinical researcher from New York, a diehard Today fan. Her name is Tiffany Drummond.\u201d<\/p>\n

The show went on to air Drummond\u2019s audition tape, during which she described herself as an \u201copinionated diva.\u201d She added, \u201cFirst, I\u2019m a professional karaoke enthusiast, hence my microphone. I don\u2019t just sing The Chicks\u2019 \u2018Changes\u2019 cover, I move people. Maybe out the door, but that\u2019s their impending FOMO. All of this to say, I can bring the energy, excitement, and a slightly off-key sense of dramatic urgency to any segment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Noting that she\u2019s also \u201cobsessed with finding the truth behind Hollywood\u2019s biggest mysteries,\u201d Drummond concluded her submission tape by stating, \u201cYou need a cohost who is fun, who is fearless, and who is ready to sing off-key at a moment\u2019s notice. Okay? C\u2019mon, Jenna. I\u2019m your girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

To celebrate Drummond\u2019s selection as the show\u2019s first-ever fan cohost, Bush Hager and Rogers (this week\u2019s guest host), broke the news to the fan live on air. \u201cTiffany thinks we\u2019re just calling her right now to do a final interview with our executive producer,\u201d Bush Hager shared. \u201cShe has no idea that Matt and I are gonna call her right now and we\u2019re gonna tell her she\u2019s gonna join us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon answering a video call, Drummond was shocked to learn that she was on TV. \u201cGuess what? We don\u2019t need an interview. We want you to join me and Savannah [Guthrie]<\/a> on Monday, right here at this glad table,\u201d Bush Hager told Drummond. \u201cYou\u2019re gonna be hanging with us, hosting the show, doing the chat, and bringing your karaoke skills.\u201d<\/p>\n

Drummond seemingly manifested the gig, as she pointed out to Bush Hager, \u201cJenna, look at my sign that I have for you. I really said, \u2018Desperately seeking Jenna & Friends.\u2019 Oh, my God. I cannot believe it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to state, \u201cI love you guys. I can\u2019t wait to sing. I can\u2019t wait to sit at the table. And if you want to have some drinks there, I\u2019m not gonna say no.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager loved Drummond\u2019s on-air drinks idea. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna bring it back to the Kathie Lee [Gifford]<\/a> days with you,\u201d she joked, referring to how Gifford and Hoda Kotb<\/a> would often enjoy a glass of wine on the fourth hour of Today. \u201cTiffany, we cannot wait \u2019til you join us here on Monday. We\u2019re gonna have a blast. Thank you for answering our call!\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager and Rogers wrapped up the discussion by declaring that Drummond will be \u201cincredible\u201d and \u201camazing\u201d on the show.<\/p>\n

Today Fan Fest kicks off on Monday, October 20, with a special episode full of celebrity interviews, shopping segments, giveaways, and more. In addition to cohosting Jenna & Friends with Drummond, Bush Hager will also host a special Read With Jenna \u201cGirls Night Out\u201d event<\/a> on Monday, October 27. Fans will get to talk all things books in person with Bush Hager and some special guests, including actress Allison Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n
