WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark<\/a> is set to return to the LPGA\u2019s ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge Pro-Am in November. It’s even more proof that Clark is a huge golf<\/a> enthusiast.<\/p>\n

Clark, who has long expressed her passion for the sport, is no stranger to the fairways. In recent years, she\u2019s participated in several PGA Tour Pro-Ams, including the John Deere Classic and the RSM Classic, where she had the opportunity to play alongside stars like Zach Johnson and Ludvig Aberg.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had an amazing time\u00a0at The ANNIKA last November and\u00a0participating\u00a0in the Pro-Am alongside\u00a0Nelly\u00a0Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,\u201d\u00a0Clark said about returning to The Pelican Golf Club, according to lpga.com<\/a>. “… I\u00a0can\u2019t wait to return to\u00a0Tampa in November to\u00a0play\u00a0in the Pro-Am with\u00a0the best women\u00a0golfers in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Event host and golf legend Annika Sorenstam highlighted the tremendous opportunity that Clark’s presence at the event represents.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an honor to play in the pro-am with Caitlin last year.\u00a0The crowds were amazing, and we are excited for her return to The ANNIKA in November,\u201d Sorenstam said, according to lpga.com<\/a>. \u201cShe added such a great dynamic to our event, and her\u00a0passion for golf and competitiveness were fun to witness firsthand. I look forward to having her back and\u00a0continuing to introduce the great game of golf to the next generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last year, Clark joined The ANNIKA pro-am<\/a> after revolutionizing women’s sports worldwide with her historic performances in both college basketball and the WNBA. Her impact coincided with Nelly Korda’s legendary season, in which she won seven tournaments, five of them consecutively.<\/p>\n

Under such circumstances, it’s no surprise that Clark and Korda played nine holes together during the pro-am. This pairing attracted large crowds to the event, and it was one of the very few pro-am events broadcast worldwide.<\/p>\n

It has not yet been announced who the WNBA star will play with, but it is now official that fans will be able to attend.<\/p>\n

The ANNIKA is sponsored by Gainbridge, which is also one of Clark’s main sponsors. The Indiana Fever star also counts Nike among her sponsors, which has numerous golf stars in its catalog, such as Korda and men’s world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.<\/p>\n
