Katy Perry<\/a> is keeping it real.\n<\/p>\n On Tuesday, July 15, Perry got candid with fans at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., during the “Choose Your Own Adventure” segment, in which fans can vote on songs for her to perform.\n<\/p>\n The results showed “Not Like the Movies,” and Perry \u2014 who recently split<\/a> from Orlando Bloom<\/a> after nine years together \u2014 said to fans, “You’re gonna make me sing this song in this time in my life?”\n<\/p>\n “OK, we’ll do it! Because you voted for it,” Perry, 40, shouted out, before revealing that fans also voted for “The One That Got Away.”\n<\/p>\n “I let you choose the song tonight because I like to pick an album for every country that I go to and for the U.S.A., I picked Teenage Dream because U.S.A., you could be a teenage dream baby. You better get it together. I’ll always have that feeling for you,” the “Firework” singer said.\n<\/p>\n She added of “Not Like the Movies,” “This next song I wrote in my 20s… after my first divorce<\/a>.”\n<\/p>\n Then, Perry warned fans she would “try and hold my composure while I sing it a week before my period.”\n<\/p>\n Katy Perry performing in Mexico City in April 2025.<\/p>\n Theo Wargo\/Getty\u00a0<\/p>\n Perry’s show comes after she attended the Balenciaga haute couture show<\/a> on July 9. That same day Bloom, 48, shared a carousel of photos\u00a0on his Instagram<\/a>, which included a\u00a0rare family photo<\/a>\u00a0of the former couple posing with their 4\u00bd-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.\n<\/p>\n The singer will next perform at the Chase Center in San Francisco on July 18. After her North American run, Perry will travel to South America, Europe, Asia and conclude in Abu Dhabi on Dec. 7. There’s costume changes, there’s acts, there’s dancers, there’s musicians. I’ll fly around the room. There’s no bad seat in the house,” she said of the tour, which is in support of her latest album, 143<\/a>.<\/p>\n
