Georgie & Mandy\u2019s First Marriage<\/a> has returned, but the question remains: when are the young couple going to break up? As the title implies, the pair won\u2019t stay together forever, but a breakup doesn\u2019t necessarily mean the end of their romance either.<\/p>\n

As fans saw at the end of Season 1, Mandy (Emily Osment<\/a>) is going to be working closely with her ex, Scott (Christopher Gorham<\/a>), as she continues forecasting the weather. And while Georgie (Montana Jordan<\/a>) attempts to be okay with this fact, that wasn\u2019t an entirely resolved matter heading into Season 2.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, what can fans expect as Season 2 unfolds on CBS<\/a>? Series executive producer Steve Holland admits, when it comes to a breakup timeline or endgame, the team behind the show has \u201cnot really\u201d thought about it too much. \u201cI mean, we\u2019ve had some broad discussions, but the great thing is, obviously, we know we know it\u2019ll happen at some point,\u201d Holland shares.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat we know from The Big Bang Theory<\/a> is so little, so we don\u2019t know when,\u201d Holland clarifies. \u201cThere\u2019s no timeline on it. We know it is definitely a thing that will happen eventually, and it is sort of a nice little sword hanging over their relationship in the series.\u201d<\/p>\n

He goes on to say that when it comes to Georgie and Mandy\u2019s relationship, \u201cit\u2019s gonna have its troubles,\u201d but without an exact point in time determined for the breakup, \u201cwe sort of leave ourselves open to kind of feel those things out as we\u2019re going.\u201d<\/p>\n

The most important thing, Holland says, is, \u201cwe don\u2019t want to force it. We don\u2019t want to force them to suddenly have a massive rift when it doesn\u2019t feel natural, but it\u2019s out there, and it will happen at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n

As we previously reported, Jordan said, \u201cTheir relationship is probably rocky more times than not right now,\u201d as he noted their struggles as young parents play a role in that. \u201cThere are so many different opinions around, when you\u2019re a young parent, it just makes it hard,\u201d Jordan noted.<\/p>\n
