For the third time in four seasons, the Las Vegas Aces celebrated their WNBA championship with a high-energy parade down a closed Las Vegas Strip on Friday, October 17.<\/p>\n

The team rode atop a double-decker bus past thousands of elated fans, many of whom wore bright pink wigs \u2014 a tribute to A\u2019ja Wilson, the Aces\u2019 superstar center and 2025 WNBA MVP, who kicked off the season with bubblegum-hued hair.<\/p>\n

The Aces clinched their third title since 2022 on October 10, sweeping the Phoenix Mercury, with Wilson scoring 31 of the points that led to their 97-86 victory. The win capped a perfect postseason for the Aces, who went undefeated through the playoffs.<\/p>\n

At the rally held at Toshiba Plaza outside T-Mobile Arena, team owner Mark Davis \u2014 who also owns the NFL\u2019s Las Vegas Raiders \u2014 addressed the crowd with trademark enthusiasm: \u201cWe\u2019re back! Las Vegas, we are world champions!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a special, special group,\u201d Wilson said during her speech. \u201cWe prayed together and were popping champagne together.\u201d Her teammate, Chelsea Gray, added with a grin: \u201cThey done messed around and let us win again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Head coach Becky Hammon, who has led the team to all three of its championships, took the stage wearing one of her signature hoodie blazers \u2014 this one emblazoned with the word \u201cGRATITUDE\u201d across the back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis never gets old,\u201d she told the crowd. \u201cWe should do it again next year. Same time, next year. Let\u2019s do this.\u201d<\/p>\n

The night concluded with a concert featuring R&B singer M\u00fda and hip-hop icon Ludacris, who performed for the crowd as players, coaches, and fans danced on stage.<\/p>\n
