LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com)\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The\u00a0UNLV women’s\u00a0golf\u00a0team will close its fall slate at the Jim West Challenge being hosted by Texas State from Sunday-Monday, Oct. 19-20 at Kissing Tree Golf Club (Par 72, 6,236 yards).\u00a0<\/p>\n

BROADCAST INFO: The event will be broadcast on ESPN+ (subscription required). Sunday’s coverage begins at 11:30 a.m. PT and Monday’s starts at 6 a.m. PT.<\/p>\n

THE FIELD:\u00a0Competing against\u00a0UNLV\u00a0and the host Bobcats in the 14-team field are\u00a0Florida State,\u00a0Houston,\u00a0New Mexico,\u00a0Northern Illinois,\u00a0North Texas,\u00a0Notre Dame,\u00a0Oklahoma,\u00a0TCU,\u00a0Texas A&M,\u00a0Texas Tech and\u00a0UTSA.<\/p>\n

UNLV\u00a0LINEUP:\u00a0Representing the Rebels will be junior Zi Yu Foong<\/a> and sophomore Amber Chen<\/a> alongside freshmen Demi Du<\/a>,\u00a0Lana Yamagata<\/a> and\u00a0Yen Liu<\/a>.<\/p>\n

SCHEDULE:\u00a0The Scarlet & Gray will play three 18-hole rounds, including two rounds Sunday and the final round Monday. Play begins in the first round with a 6:30 a.m. shotgun start.<\/p>\n

\n\tThrough three tournaments, UNLV’s highest finish has been a\u00a0fourth-place performance at Colorado State’s\u00a0Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic that included junior Zi Yu Foong’s<\/a>\u00a0first career individual win.
\n\tFoong, who has posted two top-2 finishes this season, recently represented Malaysia at the World Amateur Team Championship in Singapore.
