{"id":223124,"date":"2025-10-18T21:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-10-18T21:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/223124\/"},"modified":"2025-10-18T21:37:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-18T21:37:11","slug":"2-more-youths-charged-with-first-degree-murder-in-fatal-stabbing-of-toronto-teen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/223124\/","title":{"rendered":"2 more youths charged with first-degree murder in fatal stabbing of Toronto teen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\tDescrease article font size<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\tIncrease article font size<\/p>\n<p>Toronto police have charged two additional teenage boys in connection with the fatal stabbing of 14-year-old Abdoul Aziz Sarr, who was killed in July outside a fast-food restaurant in the city\u2019s east end.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1760811489_47_70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Both suspects, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from Toronto, were arrested on Friday, Oct. 17, and each charged with first-degree murder. Two of them turned themselves in to police in July, while the third turned himself in to police in August.<\/p>\n<p>They were set to make their first court appearance Saturday,\u00a0Oct. 18, at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identities of the accused cannot be released.<\/p>\n<p>Sarr was fatally stabbed on the night of July 5, 2025.
