Selena Gomez<\/a> has seemingly responded to Hailey Bieber<\/a>\u2019s latest comments about their rumored feud.\n<\/p>\n In a recent cover interview for WSJ. Magazine<\/a>‘s Innovators Issue, the Rhode Beauty<\/a> founder, 28, declined to directly answer a question about comparisons between her brand and Gomez\u2019s Rare Beauty<\/a>, following interference from a publicist, but later told the outlet it\u2019s \u201cannoying\u201d to be pitted against people.\n<\/p>\n Gomez, 33, then seemingly responded to Hailey\u2019s comments in a since-deleted social media post on Oct. 17. \u201cJust leave the girl alone,\u201d the newly married<\/a> star wrote over a plain background on her Instagram Stories, per E! News<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n The singer continued, \u201cShe can say whatever she wants. Doesn’t affect [my] life whatsoever. It’s just about relevance not intelligence. Be kind. All brands inspire me. Magazine interview, published Oct. 14, was conducted just hours ahead of Rhode launching at Sephora, where Gomez\u2019s Rare Beauty is sold.\n<\/p>\n During the conversation, in which she was asked about potential comparisons between the two brands, the Rhode founder told the newspaper, \u201cIt\u2019s always annoying being pitted against other people. I didn\u2019t ask for that.\u201d\n<\/p>\n \u201cWhen people want to see you a certain way and they\u2019ve made up a story about you in their minds, it\u2019s not up to you to change that,\u201d added Hailey.\n<\/p>\n The comments come amid longtime rumors of a feud between the beauty moguls, which stems from Gomez\u2019s past romance with Hailey\u2019s now-husband Justin Bieber<\/a>.
