Everybody wanted to write off the Kansas City Chiefs following the worst start of the Patrick Mahomes era.<\/p>\n
I was willing to listen to you all make your case.<\/p>\n
The problem is that Mahomes is FanDuel\u2019s favourite to win NFL regular season MVP at +200 and the Chiefs are currently a co-favourite to win the Super Bowl at +650.<\/p>\n
Trust me, I get why you might not cheer on Kansas City.<\/p>\n
Still, it\u2019s impossible to ignore the fact that the Chiefs still deserve to be the AFC championship favourite.<\/p>\n
The Buffalo Bills are still a co-favourite to win it all, but they\u2019re also coming off back-to-back upset losses to the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons in primetime.<\/p>\n
The Los Angeles Chargers were my pick to surprise in the AFC and they still might do it, but at this point they trail only the Baltimore Ravens in terms of AFC teams that have been hit the hardest by injuries this season.<\/p>\n
Yes, the same Ravens team that is still -102 to make the playoffs at FanDuel following a 1-5 start.<\/p>\n
The Cincinnati Bengals don\u2019t have Joe Burrow, the Houston Texans don\u2019t have Tank Dell or a capable offensive line, and the Miami Dolphins could be on the verge of a complete implosion without Tyreek Hill.<\/p>\n
At a time when injuries are taking a toll on the AFC, the Chiefs are inching their way back to full strength.<\/p>\n
Mahomes leads the NFL in offensive yards and TDs for the first time since he won MVP back in 2022.<\/p>\n
Xavier Worthy has averaged 4.3 receptions for 48.3 yards in three games since his return from injury.<\/p>\n
Travis Kelce has averaged 6.0 receptions for 62.3 yards since Worthy\u2019s return to the lineup.<\/p>\n
Now Kansas City is set to welcome back Rashee Rice, who averaged 8.0 receptions for 96.0 yards in three games last season before suffering a season-ending injury.<\/p>\n

Early in 2024, Rice was showing many of the signs you want to see from a high-volume receiver in the archetype of players that are taking over the top of the league rankings the last couple of years.@JamesDKoh<\/a> and I got together to break down\u2026 pic.twitter.com\/H8VsaviMxh<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Matt Harmon (@MattHarmon_BYB) October 18, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n The fact that Mahomes and the passing attack has come alive against some quality defensive opponents without its full arsenal available is reason to believe in the Chiefs.<\/p>\n Kansas City went 4-0 last season when Rice and Worthy were both in the lineup.<\/p>\n The Chiefs are up to -12.5 at FanDuel for Sunday\u2019s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Rice\u2019s receiving yards prop has climbed from 59.5 to 64.5 since I posted my early NFL player prop list for Sunday\u2019s games.<\/p>\n Rice absolutely dominated targets when he was fully healthy last season and there\u2019s little reason to believe he can\u2019t shake off the rust against a weak Raiders secondary in his season debut.<\/p>\n I\u2019m on Rice over 59.5 receiving yards as a FanDuel Best Bet.<\/p>\n My friends at Fantasy Points have him projected to register 6.0 receptions for 74.4 yards in his return.<\/p>\n I also have the Chiefs to win outright parlay with the double result for the New England Patriots against the Tennessee Titans.<\/p>\n New England is currently a 6.5-point favourite at FanDuel.<\/p>\n The Patriots have won and covered three in a row to improve to an NFL-best 4-2 against the spread.<\/p>\n I like New England to extend its win streak with Mike Vrabel making his highly anticipated return to Tennessee the same week that the Titans fired Brian Callahan.<\/p>\n Make sure you give me a follow @Domenic_Padula on X for all my plays.<\/p>\n Here are three more props I like for NFL Sunday Week 7.<\/p>\n Bijan Robinson over 75.5 rushing yards<\/p>\n Robinson leads the NFL with 822 total scrimmage yards. <\/p>\n In last week\u2019s win over the Bills, he registered 170 rushing yards and 68 receiving yards on six receptions for a whopping 228 total scrimmage yards.<\/p>\n The San Francisco 49ers have conceded the seventh-fewest receiving yards per game to opposing running backs this season, but they\u2019ve also allowed the 12th-most rushing yards per game (90.7).<\/p>\n Fantasy Points projects Robinson for 94.5 rushing yards on 17.4 carries against the Niners.<\/p>\n I\u2019ll play Robinson over 75.5 rushing yards at FanDuel as the best number in market for anybody who wants to bet the over on his rushing prop.<\/p>\n Kendrick Bourne over 42.5 receiving yards<\/p>\n A couple of weeks ago, I had the over on the receiving yards props for DeMarcus Robinson and Jake Tonges in a win over the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football.<\/p>\n Both players went over their totals, but the star of the Niners passing attack was Kendrick Bourne, who thrived catching passes from his former Patriots teammate Mac Jones in the victory.<\/p>\n Bourne went off with 10 receptions for 142 yards.<\/p>\n Then in last week\u2019s loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he registered exactly 142 receiving yards on five receptions.<\/p>\n While the Falcons defence has been solid against opposing wide receivers that line up out wide, they could deliver another strong performance and hold Bourne to 45 or 50 receiving yards and this bet would still cash.<\/p>\n Tight end George Kittle is back for San Francisco and will eat some of the target share along with Christian McCaffrey, but I still think this number is too low for Bourne, and my friends at Fantasy Points agree.<\/p>\n Fantasy Points has Bourne projected for 64.0 receiving yards on 4.6 receptions.<\/p>\n The significant gap between our expectations and the number at FanDuel is enough for me to make Bourne over 42.5 receiving yards a best bet.<\/p>\n Jordan Addison over 43.5 receiving yards<\/p>\n If you read my articles or follow me on X, then you know that I\u2019m on the Philadelphia Eagles -2.5 against the Minnesota Vikings this week. <\/p>\n The Vikings have really struggled to stop the run, so I\u2019m hoping that Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts get the Philly rushing attack back on track to avoid a third loss in a row.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Carson Wentz will start for Minnesota, and that\u2019s a good thing for anybody that has Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and T.J. Hockenson in their lineups in fantasy football leagues.<\/p>\n While J.J.
