The Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> have finalized their roster to begin the 2025-26 NBA season.<\/p>\n

And in doing so, they made a key decision on Johnny Juzang.<\/p>\n

The preseason star has officially made the team.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves announced<\/a> that Juzang has signed a two-way deal with the Timberwolves.<\/p>\n

Juzang averaged 13.8 points per game in just 17.6 minutes per night in the preseason while grabbing 4.2 rebounds per night. He shot 50% from the floor, 48.3% from 3 and 83.3% from the line to put up that scoring.<\/p>\n

The 24-year old was once a third-team All-American, but he hasn’t yet found his permanent NBA home.<\/p>\n

Last season, Juzang played for the\u00a0Utah Jazz<\/a>, where he put up 8.9 points per game.<\/p>\n

Over the last two seasons, Juzang has made more than 38% of his 3-point shots.<\/p>\n

“It’s felt like for a while now that Johnny Juzang could be a guy that eventually found the right spot and was a multi-year bench shooter for a team,”\u00a0wrote Spotrac’s Keith Smith on X<\/a>. “Maybe that’s now with the Wolves? Sometimes shooters take a few years to figure it out, then they’re on rosters for several years.”<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves’ most talented bench scorers are young. Rob Dillingham and Terrence Shannon Jr. are both entering their second year in the NBA.<\/p>\n

Juzang adds a bit more experience to the mix.<\/p>\n

And the Timberwolves love encouraging their guys to let it fly from deep. Juzang won’t need much nudging to start chucking.<\/p>\n

He could be a key piece to the Timberwolves’ long-term chances as they get a new season underway.<\/p>\n
