A new injury update has emerged on Jacob Fatu after he was removed from his planned match on WWE SmackDown this past Friday.<\/p>\n
Fatu was set to face Drew McIntyre in a WWE Championship #1 contender\u2019s match to determine Cody Rhodes\u2019 challenger at Saturday Night\u2019s Main Event on November 1.<\/p>\n
Instead, Fatu was attacked backstage and McIntyre ended up facing Rhodes in a title match, which ended when Rhodes got himself disqualified by using his title belt as a weapon.<\/p>\n
An update has now emerged on Jacob Fatu, with his absence reportedly due to dental work, which could potentially rule him out of WWE Survivor Series where he was planned for the men\u2019s WarGames match.<\/p>\n
On Wrestling Observer Radio<\/a>, Dave Meltzer reported:<\/p>\n \u201cJacob is having dental work done, so he\u2019s gonna be out for a while.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not gonna be a long time. When they open up, they\u2019ll find out \u2013 they don\u2019t know all the damage in his shoulder, and they will find out the damage when they open him up.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen they do the surgery, they\u2019ll have an idea.<\/p>\n \u201cI guess the best way to put it is they hope he\u2019ll be okay for WrestleMania.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s no way of knowing one way or the other today whether he will be or not.
