\n\tSpinal Tap<\/a> reunite for one last concert in the latest trailer for the classic rock mockumentary\u2019s upcoming sequel<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tThe preview for Spinal Tap II: The End Continues opens up with highlights from the Rob Reiner\u2019s 1984 film before Reiner himself \u2014 as documentarian Marty Di Bergi \u2014 reveals the purpose of the 40-years-later documentary: To celebrate Spinal Tap\u2019s legacy by bringing together Michael McKean\u2019s David St. Hubbins, Christopher Guest\u2019s Nigel Tufnel, and Harry Shearer\u2019s Derek Smalls (and whatever fearless drummer they can recruit) for a final gig in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tThe trailer also provides a tease of the many, many real-life rockers who will cameo in the mockumentary, including Paul McCartney (who praises Spinal Tap\u2019s \u201cBig Bottom\u201d), Questlove (who rejects an opportunity to be the band\u2019s drummer because he doesn\u2019t want to die like their 11 or 12 other drummers), and Elton John, who appears during the group\u2019s final gig.<\/p>\n \n\tOther rumored cameos include Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Metallica\u2019s Lars Ulrich, Red Hot Chili Peppers\u2019 Chad Smith, Paul Shaffer (reprising his role from the original), and more.<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n \n\tLike the original\u00a0This Is Spinal Tap<\/a>, Reiner has said that the sequel would largely be improvised, but with a firm structure in place.
