Tommy Fleetwood<\/a>‘s stellar 2025 continues to shine brighter as he delivered an outstanding performance on the final day to clinch the inaugural DP World India Championship.<\/p>\n Just about a month after Fleetwood and Team Europe’s Ryder Cup victory over Keegan Bradley’s Team USA at Bethpage Blac<\/a>k, the 34-year-old extended his impressive season by triumphing at Delhi Golf Club. Fleetwood, who earlier this year won the FedExCup, managed to overturn a two-shot deficit during his final round, which included five birdies in a seven-hole stretch, catapulting him to the top of the leaderboard.<\/p>\n Ultimately, Fleetwood finished -22, two shots ahead of Keita Nakajima, with the win earning him a cool $680,000 from his success in India. However, he also mentioned that he tried not to dwell on it “too much” so as to stay focused on the task at hand.<\/p>\n In a media interaction prior to the final day of action in India, when asked about his son mimicking his shots, Fleetwood said: “I try not to focus on it too much.<\/p>\n Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n “He’s my biggest supporter, and yeah, my family are my biggest source of motivation and inspiration if you like.<\/p>\n “They give me that, so I love having them here to support. It’s amazing watching Frankie grow up and how into the golf he is, how biased he is. There’s a lot of players out there that he really likes but he’s very biased toward his dad, so I’m very pleased with that.<\/p>\n “It’s cool seeing him. You’ve never won a tournament and then I’ve been able to run onto the 18th green’.<\/p>\n “I had that written down all week. It was just another opportunity really.<\/p>\n “There’s going to be many more times where I hopefully get the chance to do that, but that was all day today what I had in my mind. Could I put myself in a position where I can actually make that moment happen?
