You won\u2019t find any on-air argy bargy, shock jockery or explicit content here. Just a \u2018family\u2019 atmosphere built around listener stories.<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s a philosophy that\u2019s served them well.<\/p>\n<p>This week \u2013 after more than 17 years at the station and almost 13 years on air together \u2013 Lucy and Kel celebrate 3,000 shows.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-135117 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2320.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"577\" height=\"374\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>In their years on-air together, they\u2019ve built a strong and loyal audience.<\/p>\n<p>For listeners like Kerry, who lives with a debilitating chronic illness, Lucy and Kel are not just radio hosts. They\u2019re her cheer squad.<\/p>\n<p>She likens Lucy and Kel\u2019s on-air presence to a big, warm \u2018Welcome to the family!\u2019 hug:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been moved to tears by the kindness and compassion they show to their listeners,\u201d Kerry says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey always seem so real and I have always appreciated their honesty and openness in talking about the deeper meanings of life. Kel and Lucy love to hear about all the wins, big or small.
