Jonathan Taylor can’t be stopped.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Indianapolis Colts<\/a>‘ running back continued his torrid start to the season on Sunday as the Colts themselves stayed red hot with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>.<\/p>\n Taylor, in the process, matched his own recent bit of NFL history.<\/p>\n The Colts’ RB has run for 10 touchdowns in his last five games. The last player to do that? Taylor himself, in 2021, according to NFL.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n Taylor ran for three touchdowns on Sunday, and in the process, marked his third game this season with three rushing touchdowns (which is insane through just seven weeks).<\/p>\n That’s more three-TD rushing games by Taylor than by the entire NFL combined this season. Giants<\/a> rookie Cam Skattebo had one, and Browns<\/a> rookie Quinshon Judkins just did it on Sunday himself.<\/p>\n MORE:\u00a0Vikings<\/a>\u00a0made a massive Sam Darnold mistake, and Daniel Jones is making it feel worse<\/a><\/p>\n So it’s Taylor 3, a couple of rookies combined for 2, and no one else in the NFL with a three touchdown day on the ground this season so far.<\/p>\n Taylor has paired so nicely with Daniel Jones and a strong offensive line to keep the Colts as the AFC’s best team so far. Indy scored on six of its first seven offensive possessions against the Chargers.<\/p>\n
