\u201cLate Show<\/a>\u201d host Stephen Colbert<\/a> on Thursday said President Donald Trump<\/a> \u201cgave a whole dumb speech\u201d this week on artificial intelligence, and played a clip of him awkwardly greeting tech leaders. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a group of smart ones we have in front of me today. That\u2019s about as good as it comes up here,\u201d the president said and gestured to his head. \u201cThe brain power. The greatest power of them all. The brain power.\u201d <\/p>\n

Trump then struggled with the word \u201cluminaries,\u201d saying \u201cluminarieses\u201d instead. <\/p>\n

\u201cLuminarieses,\u201d Colbert repeated as the audience laughed. \u201cSomebody\u2019s \u2018brain power\u2019 is in low battery mode.\u201d <\/p>\n

He rolled a clip of Trump complaining about the term \u201cartificial intelligence\u201d because \u201cI don\u2019t like anything that\u2019s artificial.\u201d <\/p>\n

Given the president\u2019s famous love of fast food and Diet Coke, Colbert found that claim hard to swallow. <\/p>\n

He broke out his impression of the president. <\/p>\n

\u201cNothing artificial for me,\u201d Colbert said in his Trump voice. \u201cThey harvest my dinner straight from the nugget bush, and then they milk the Diet Coke cow, OK? Gotta milk it every day or else they explode from the carbonation.\u201d <\/p>\n

In another clip, Trump compared the AI industry to a baby.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to grow that baby and let that baby thrive,\u201d Trump said. \u201cWe can\u2019t stop it. We can\u2019t stop it.\u201d <\/p>\n
