\n\tEarlier this month, Rush<\/a> rattled the rock world by announcing<\/a> a 2026 tour, then doubled its length due to increased demand. Now, Geddy Lee<\/a> and Alex Lifeson<\/a> have added 17 more dates to the trek.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new dates mean the Fifty Something Tour will stretch into the fall and early winter, with cities ranging from Detroit to Tampa, Florida. It marks their first tour since the death of their bandmate Neil Peart; German virtuoso drummer Anika Nilles<\/a> will be joining Lee and Lifeson.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe are blown away by the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we\u2019re going back on tour,\u201d Lee said in the video revealing the expanded tour. \u201cI cannot tell you how surprising and overwhelmed we are. And also, the way you guys have welcomed Anika Nilles<\/a> into the Rush family has been very heartwarming. I know that she\u2019s very appreciative of that. We\u2019re even more excited to get back onstage and play with her and go through the plethora of songs that we\u2019re planning.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLee then turned to Lifeson in the video: \u201cBut\u2026.the downside for you, my, friend, is that we have to go back into the gym! We need to be strong, because we\u2019re adding 17 more cities to our tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tLee then urged fans to get their tickets from Rush\u2019s official website<\/a>, or Ticketmaster\u2019s site. \u201cThe resellers are having a field day out there, jacking up the prices,\u201d he said. \u201cJust be aware of that. Go to the source. Thank you again. We just can\u2019t wait to get onstage and make all those mistakes that we\u2019ve been practicing.\u201d<\/p>\n
