GLEN COVE, N.Y. \u2013 The Belmont men’s golf team is in 12th\u00a0place after day one of the Nassau Intercollegiate held Monday at Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove, New York.<\/p>\n
Belmont carded rounds of 298 and 309 on Monday to finish the day in 12th\u00a0place at 607.\u00a0\u00a0Rhode Island leads the event at 577, with Army West Point in second place at 583.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Bruins are led by junior Grey Goff<\/a>, who is tied for 29th\u00a0place at 150.\u00a0\u00a0He shot rounds of 71 and 79.\u00a0\u00a0Goff is 10 strokes back of the individual leader, Aidan O’Donovan of Rhode Island (140).<\/p>\n Freshman Charlie Spiller<\/a> and junior Chris Harpum<\/a> are each tied for 36th\u00a0place at 151.\u00a0\u00a0Spiller posted rounds of 73 and 78, while Harpum carded a 75 and 76.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Senior Conner Brown<\/a> is tied for 54th\u00a0place at 155, while freshman Jack Doyle<\/a> is tied for 65th\u00a0at 162.<\/p>\n The third and final round is set to begin Tuesday morning at 6:42am CT.\u00a0\u00a0Belmont will tee off from the 10th\u00a0hole from 7:42-8:30am CT.\u00a0\u00a0Live scoring can be found at BelmontBruins.com.<\/p>\n Follow Belmont Men’s Golf on social media –\u00a0@BelmontMGolf on X and\u00a0@belmontmgolf on Instagram – for complete coverage of the Bruins.
