\nThe Rainbow Wahine currently sits in 16th place among the field which is led by 15th-ranked Baylor’s 9-under 279 followed closely by Santa Clara (280), who is one stroke back.

\nUH is led by Jasmine Wong<\/a>, who carded a 2-over 74 and is tied for 40th place. Maline Kraus<\/a> shot 4-over 76 and is tied for 70th while Chloe Ku<\/a> and Emiko Sverduk<\/a> each posted 77 and are tied for 81st. Rounding out the team is freshman Kaydence Kim<\/a>, who shot 80 and is tied for 103rd.

\nThree other Rainbow Wahine are competing as individuals \u2013 Varnika S. Achanta<\/a> (73, t-29th), Sofina Firouzi<\/a> (75, t-57th), and Wendy Song<\/a> (82, 108th).

\nBaylor’s Yurang Li and San Diego State’s Ema Narita share the lead at 5-under 67 while a group of three golfers are one stroke back.

\nRound 2 is scheduled for Tuesday with a 9:30 a.m., shotgun start.
