Following Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier’s late-September message, in which she challenged WNBA leadership<\/a> in her 2025 exit interview, both\u00a0current Los Angeles Sparks’<\/a>\u00a0star forward\u00a0Dearica Hamby<\/a> and former L.A. star Candace Parker <\/a>have spoken out in support. <\/p>\n

Now, Parker \u2014\u00a0on a recent episode of “Post Moves with Candace Parker & Aliyah Boston”<\/a> \u2014 was honest in contrasting her respective relationships<\/a> with both the WNBA’s Cathy Engelbert<\/a> and NBA’s Adam Silver<\/a>, the two league commissioners.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, in a Oct. 9 story by ESPN’s Katie Barnes<\/a>, Sparks’ star guard Kelsey Plum<\/a> also spoke on her relationship with Engelbert<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“It’s not just what she says but how she says it,”\u00a0Plum said<\/a>. “We can all win this, and that frustration has been boiling … The conversation has been combative and that’s upping the frustration.”<\/p>\n
