The TCU Horned Frogs<\/a> are set to welcome another nonconference opponent to Fort Worth this fall.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s basketball team will host Notre Dame<\/a> on Dec. 5, 2025 at Schollmaier Arena. It will be the sixth meeting all time<\/a> between the two schools and the first in Fort Worth since 1980 and first overall since 1997. TCU will play a road game against Notre Dame the following season on Dec. 5, 2026.<\/p>\n

The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 5-0, including two wins in the NCAA Tournament (1971 and 1987). TCU head coach Jamie Dixon was all-SWC guard for the 1987 Horned Frogs squad.<\/p>\n

TCU has not yet confirmed its complete schedule for the upcoming season. It has announced a Nov. 14 home date against Michigan<\/a> and its participation in the 2025 Rady Children\u2019s Invitational<\/a> in San Diego. It will be joined by defending champions Florida, Wisconsin and Providence at the Nov. 27-28 invitational tournament.<\/p>\n

While dates for conference play are not yet known, the Big 12 did reveal matchups<\/a> last month. TCU will host Arizona, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Houston, Iowa State and West Virginia. Road matchups include BYU, UCF, Colorado, Kansas, Texas Tech<\/a> and Utah. Finally, the Horned Frogs will play one home and one away game against Baylor<\/a>, Kansas State and Oklahoma State<\/a>.<\/p>\n

TCU left-hander Ben Abeldt and Duke left-hander Owen Proksch both played high school baseball in North Texas.<\/p>\n
