When it comes to hair, we\u2019ve learned to expect the unexpected from Miley Cyrus. From bleached punk pixies to jellyfish cuts<\/a>, the singer loves a statement style\u2014but this week, she was spotted wearing her natural waves.<\/p>\n

In an off-duty moment in LA, Cyrus was seen in straight-leg jeans<\/a> and a boxy jacket, but her effortless hairstyle made the look. She\u2019s sporting major length and natural texture in her loose, bouncy waves\u2014plus some flattering face-framing layers in place of her recent micro bangs<\/a>. We\u2019ve seen Cyrus\u2019s hair both tightly slicked back and teased to the nines<\/a> on her latest red-carpet rotations, but her street-style moments have been few and far in between. By the looks of it, she\u2019s spent her time out of the spotlight perfecting her wavy-hair routine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cyrus\u2019s current hair has us feeling especially nostalgic for her OG Disney Channel character Miley Stewart\u2019s long brunette waves\u2014and every time they dramatically tumbled out of that iconic blonde wig on Hannah Montana<\/a>. With high-contrast Y2K blonde<\/a> highlights threaded through her natural caramel color<\/a>, she\u2019s bringing the \u201cBest of Both Worlds\u201d into fall 2025.<\/p>\n

In a summer interview on Sirius XM<\/a>, Cyrus teased that she wants to do something \u201creally special\u201d in tribute to Hannah Montana for the show\u2019s 20th anniversary in 2026. And while fans\u2019 imaginations are running wild with tour fantasies, we\u2019re still not sure what that\u2019s going to look like.
