Nearly two weeks into the league\u2019s investigation into the head coach<\/a> and team\u2019s handling of quarterback Jaxson Dart\u2019s sideline concussion test<\/a> during a game against the Eagles, silence remains. Are the findings coming soon?\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe investigation is ongoing,\u201d NFL executive vice president Jeff Miller said Tuesday at the league\u2019s fall owners meetings in midtown. \u201cIn these things, we try to expedite it with the Players Association to get to a resolution, so I don\u2019t know what \u2018soon\u2019 means in this context, but making progress.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Daboll looked into the injury tent and claimed his intent was just to make sure that Dart was OK and not to rush an injured player back onto the field. Giants running back Cam Skattebo went a step further and went into the tent during Dart\u2019s examination.\u00a0<\/p>\n Coaches and uninjured players are prohibited from entering the tent and subject to six-figure fines for violating the league-mandated concussion protocol.\u00a0<\/p>\n Daboll was later seen screaming at Giants physician Scott Rodeo on the sideline. <\/p>\n He apologized after the game and claimed that he was just looking for an answer on how long the process would take so that he knew whether to strategize for a timeout to buy time for Dart\u2019s return on fourth down.\u00a0<\/p>\n Brian Daboll (right) yells at Dr. Rodeo during the Giants\u2019 win over the Eagles on Oct. 9, 2025. Amazon Prime<\/p>\n NFL chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills sidestepped a question regarding his concerns about the optics of football personnel potentially influencing medical professionals in such situations.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI think we will let the investigation play out before we reach all the conclusions that are important,\u201d Miller said. \u201cAnd when we do, as we\u2019ve always [done] when we have looked at these with the Players Association, we\u2019ll share our findings. Regardless of what they happen to be under certain circumstances, I think we\u2019ve been transparent in the outcomes of these. When we\u2019re done, we\u2019ll share that publicly.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Miller pushed back against the popular narrative that MetLife Stadium\u2019s turf \u2014 which hosts twice the amount of games as most stadiums \u2014 is unsafe.\u00a0<\/p>\n
