Stephen Curry never ceases to amaze.<\/p>\n

The Golden State Warriors<\/a> won for a lot of reasons on Tuesday night in their season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>. Jimmy Butler, Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield were all great.<\/p>\n

But this universe still revolves around Curry. And in the closing stages, he showed everyone just how true that really is.<\/p>\n

First, Curry blocked a corner 3-point attempt. Yeah, really. He closed out hard and timed his leap perfectly to get a piece of a shot that ended up well short of the basket.<\/p>\n

Then came the more on-brand Curry moment.<\/p>\n

With the shot clock winding down, Curry sized up his defender deep on the right wing.<\/p>\n

And rather than get a little closer, Curry just let fly on one of those from-his-hip rocket launcher-esque 3-pointers.<\/p>\n

Of course he made it.<\/p>\n

Steph didn’t do the night-night celebration, but that was certainly him saying good night.<\/p>\n

Curry finished with 23 points, not his biggest night ever, but he didn’t need it. His supporting cast did just that, supporting him en route to a solid win.<\/p>\n

The Warriors will have many more nights to witness Steph’s greatness. But the NBA as a whole shouldn’t take it for granted.<\/p>\n

There’s no one else like Curry, and there likely never will be. So don’t miss him while he’s at his best like this.<\/p>\n
