\n\u2022 A nation-best seven ACC teams are ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, including the top three spots: Notre Dame (No. 1), Stanford (No. 2), Virginia (No. 3), Duke (No. 7), Florida State (No. 11), Louisville (No. 20) and North Carolina (No. 23). Clemson and Wake Forest are receiving votes.
\n\u2022 Notre Dame is the fifth different ACC team to be ranked No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll this season, joining North Carolina, Duke, Stanford and Virginia.
\n\u2022 In the last 31 weeks of the United Soccer Coaches Poll, dating back to 2023, an ACC team has been ranked No. 1 in all but 3 weeks.
\n\u2022 A nation-best eight ACC teams are in the top 25 of the latest RPI, including four in the top 10: Notre Dame (No. 1), Virginia (No. 2), Stanford (No. 5), Duke (No. 10), Louisville (No. 12), Florida State (No. 14), North Carolina (No. 17) and Wake Forest (No. 25).
\n\u2022 Four ACC teams landed in the NCAA Division I Women\u2019s Soccer Committee Top 16 Ranking announced by the NCAA on October 12: Notre Dame (No. 1), Virginia (No. 2), Florida State (No. 6) and Duke (No. 8).
\n\u2022 ACC teams finished the non-conference portion of the regular season with 81 victories, tied for the most among all conferences.
\n\u2022 ACC teams went 15-9-7 (.597) against peer Power Four opponents and finished 5-2-5 (.625) against ranked teams.
\n\u2022 Stanford redshirt-senior forward Andrea Kitahata has been named the ACC Women\u2019s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while California senior goalkeeper Teagan Wy was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week for matches played October 13-19.
\n\u2022 A nation-best 15 players from the ACC were named to the Midseason Hermann Trophy Watch List.
\n\u2022 Three ACC teams are in the top 10 nationally in total goals: Stanford (No. 1 \u2013 56), Notre Dame (No. 4 \u2013 46) and Louisville (No. 5 \u2013 44).
\n\u2022 Virginia\u2019s Lia Godfrey has played in 99 matches, the most among all active Division I players.
\n\u2022 The 38th annual Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Tournament is set for Sunday, November 2, with first-round matchups on campus sites before moving to First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina for the semifinals and final.
\n\u2022 North Carolina claimed its 23rd national championship with a 1-0 victory over Wake Forest in the final of the 2024 Women’s College Cup. The title was UNC’s 22nd NCAA championship after winning the AIWA National Championship in 1981.
\n\u2022 The title was the ACC’s 26th women’s soccer national championship. Current membership has combined to win 32 national championships (North Carolina – 22, Florida State – 4, Stanford – 3, Notre Dame – 3). No school outside the ACC has won more than two national titles.
\n\u2022 For the first time in Women’s College Cup history, the ACC sent all four teams to the national semifinals, as Duke, North Carolina, Stanford and Wake Forest all advanced. It marks the first time a conference has sent four teams to the Women’s College Cup.<\/p>\n
