VERMILLION, S.D. \u2013 The South Dakota Coyotes women’s soccer team hits the road for the final time this regular season, wrapping up Summit League play with a pair of crucial away matches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Currently sitting in fifth place in the Summit League standings, the Coyotes are aiming for a strong finish to climb into the top four ahead of the conference tournament. Klarissa Vega<\/a> leads the offensive charge, tallying 23 shots on goal and scoring seven times\u2014ranking her second in the Summit League in goals. Brooklyn Bordson<\/a> has also made key contributions with three goals and one assist on the season.\u00a0<\/p>\n At Omaha, Caniglia Field \u2013 Thursday, 7 p.m. CT\u00a0<\/p>\n The Mavericks come into the match with a 5-7-4 overall record and a 2-3-1 mark in conference play, placing them sixth in the league standings. Freshman standout Kendall Dobberstein (#10) leads Omaha’s offense with three goals and six assists.\u00a0<\/p>\n At Denver, University of Denver Soccer Stadium \u2013 Sunday, 2 p.m. CT\u00a0<\/p>\n The Pioneers, sitting second in the Summit League with an 8-4-4 overall record and a 5-1-1 conference record, will host the Coyotes in their lone match of the week. Denver is aiming to secure a first-round bye in the conference tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n Midfielder Isabella Chidiac is the engine behind Denver’s attack. Although she has just one goal this season, she leads the Summit League with eight assists.
