The news that journalist Olivia Nuzzi \u2014\u00a0who allegedly had a sexting affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. \u2014\u00a0has written a tell-all<\/a> \u201cblindsided\u201d the MAHA leader and left his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, in \u201ca state of shock and distress,\u201d one insider told The Post.<\/p>\n

According to the sources, the controversial secretary of health and human services, 71, and the \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm\u201d star, 60, \u201cfear the revelations\u201d that could be coming in the secretly penned memoir by Vanity Fair magazine editor Nuzzi, 31, will revive last year\u2019s embarrassing scandal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBobby and Cheryl initially went through marital hell last year when the affair was first revealed. She even considered divorce for a time, but they\u2019ve since reconciled and had been relieved that the scandal had seemingly blown over,\u201d the insider said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCheryl eventually and emphatically believed<\/a>, without reservation, Bobby\u2019s denial\u201d that he had an intimate relationship \u2014 online or off \u2014 with the ex-New York Magazine political writer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A representative for Hines declined to comment, while calls to Kennedy were not returned.<\/p>\n

Depending on how explosive Nuzzi\u2019s allegations are, sources speculated, \u201cthey could spell an end\u201d to Kennedy\u2019s cabinet post in the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

When the scandal broke, Kennedy denied the affair, declaring through a spokesperson that he had met Nuzzi only once, when she interviewed him during his 2024 presidential campaign.<\/p>\n

After parting ways with New York magazine in the wake of the affair allegations, Nuzzi is now employed by Vanity Fair. Emilio Madrid<\/p>\n

Hines told Fox Digital on Monday that, after the affair claims went public, Kennedy suggested they pretend to be separated<\/a> so people would leave her alone. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u00a0was a very sweet notion but \u2026 I didn\u2019t think that was helpful,\u201d Hines said.<\/p>\n

All Nuzzi has publicly alleged about the relationship<\/a> is that it was \u201cpersonal, but never physical.\u201d<\/p>\n

But her ex-fianc\u00e9, former Politico journalist Ryan Lizza, later claimed in a court filing<\/a> that Kennedy had wanted to \u201cpossess,\u201d \u201ccontrol\u201d and \u201cimpregnate\u201d Nuzzi.<\/p>\n

He further alleged that Nuzzi had privately described Kennedy as a \u201csex addict,\u201d that their affair was \u201ctoxic, unhealthy, stupid, psychotic, crazy, indefensible,\u201d and that Kennedy used his \u201chuge power\u201d to manipulate her.<\/p>\n

Hines has been on a promotional tour for her own upcoming memoir, \u201cUnscripted.\u201d CJ Rivera\/Invision\/AP<\/p>\n

Nuzzi\u2019s book, \u201cAmerican Canto,\u201d is reportedly due to hit shelves December 2<\/a>. Meanwhile, Hines has been ambitiously promoting her own memoir, \u201cUnscripted,\u201d which is out November 11<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A publishing source familiar with Nuzzi\u2019s book project told The Post: \u201cNot to diminish Bobby and Cheryl\u2019s negative reaction and fear about Olivia\u2019s upcoming tell-all, but it really comes down to the old story \u2014 \u2018He said, she said.\u2019 So who\u2019s to be believed?<\/p>\n

\u201cBut one thing\u2019s for certain, with the two women writing about their relationship with one man \u2014 a Kennedy with a long history of womanizing \u2014 it\u2019s definitely going to generate public interest.\u201d<\/p>\n
