Kristen Bell was scheduled to appear on the \u201cToday\u201d show on Wednesday morning, along with her \u201cNobody Wants This\u201d co-star Justine Lupe, according to the NBC show\u2019s schedule<\/a>.<\/p>\n But amidst Bell\u2019s controversy, the \u201cVeronica Mars\u201d actress was a no-show. The couple share daughters Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n On Saturday, Bell shared an Instagram photo<\/a> of herself with Shepard, hugging on their bed, with the caption, \u201cHappy 12th wedding anniversary to the man who once said to me: \u2018I would never kill you. Getty Images for Giorgio Armani<\/p>\n \u201cKristen there\u2019s no way you posted this during domestic violence awareness month \ud83d\ude2d,\u201d another said.\u00a0<\/p>\n On Tuesday, a domestic violence advocacy group also slammed the \u201cForgetting Sarah Marshall\u201d actress. <\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s nothing funny about domestic violence \u2018jokes\u2019 that trivialize the very real fear, trauma, and pain that millions of victims and survivors face each day,\u201d a rep for the National Network to End Domestic Violence told\u00a0Page Six<\/a>\u00a0in a statement. <\/p>\n They continued, \u201cEspecially during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we all have a responsibility to support victims and survivors, to invest in proven solutions, and to speak about this issue with the seriousness it deserves.\u201d <\/p>\n A third person noted, \u201cPlease don\u2019t joke about domestic violence. Please keep in mind that this is something real that lots of people suffer on a daily basis.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Bell and Shepard have yet to publicly respond to the controversy. <\/p>\n Bell is currently promoting Season 2 of her Netflix rom-com \u201cNobody Wants This,\u201d in which she plays an agnostic woman dating Adam Brody\u2019s rabbi character.
