(Photo: Lethbridge News Now)<\/p>\n<p>By David Opinko<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tOct 22, 2025 | 3:03 PM\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The City of Lethbridge continues to provide updates on vote counting in the 2025 municipal election.<\/p>\n<p>Returning Officer Bonnie Hilford says it was discovered during an audit of the unofficial results that some ballots had been entered into the system twice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe count from a Mayoral contest box of 633 ballots from the YMCA on October 17 was entered twice into the results database. The same ballots were not counted twice; the numbers were entered twice,\u201d reads a statement from Hillford.<\/p>\n<p>She clarifies that the adjustment and correction did not affect the outcome of the mayoral race, only that the numbers and percentages changed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The City of Lethbridge has provided another update on vote counts in the 2025 municipal election.
