RADFORD, Va. \u2013 Five different California men’s soccer players scored in the Golden Bears’ highest-scoring game of 2025 as Cal routed Radford 6-1 on Wednesday night at Cupp Stadium. Cam Wilkerson<\/a> got the game-winning goal and Luka Lukic<\/a> scored twice in Cal’s second-to-last game of the regular season. “Having five different guys score just shows the depth of our group,” Griffin said. “To get that many on the scoresheet – and not just with goals but assists, and some attractive assists that illustrate our style of play – is amazing.”<\/p>\n The Bears complete their last regular-season road trip when they play an ACC match at Virginia Tech on Sunday at 3 p.m. PT.

\n“It’s a testament to having these last couple of weeks of just preparation, rest, recovery and getting the chance to work on some things in training that we wanted to bring into the game,” Cal head coach Leonard Griffin<\/a> said. “The high attention to detail from our staff and players allowed us to home in on some of the things we knew were inside of us and that we brought out tonight. I’m proud of our execution, and tonight we reaped the rewards of their efforts.”

\nThe six goals are the most the Bears have scored in a game this year, surpassing their total in a 3-2 win at Saint Mary’s in the season opener.

\nWith the nonconference victory, the Bears improved to 5-6-2. Radford fell to 2-9-3.

\nCal got on the scoreboard at 13:21 when defender Alfredo Ortiz<\/a> served a cross into the Radford box and found forward Malcolm Zalayet<\/a>, who tapped the ball into the net for his third goal of the season. At 30:18, Cal took a 2-0 lead when midfielder Cam Wilkerson<\/a> scored his second goal of the year at the near post off a corner kick taken by Gaku Nishimura<\/a>.

\nLess than three minutes later, freshman Callen Lewis<\/a> tallied his second goal of the season, scoring from just inside the top of the Highlanders’ box to give Cal a 3-0 lead. At 40:22, a flurry of shots resulted in sophomore Junhwan Park<\/a> scoring his first goal as a Bear. First a shot by Nishimura was blocked by a mass of bodies in the Radford box, then Rohan McEligot’s<\/a> follow shot was saved by goalkeeper Ben Miller. Park pounced on the loose ball to score past Miller and make the score 4-0.

\nAfter Radford’s Sam Amyx scored in the 44th minute, Cal took a 4-1 lead into halftime.

\nLukic \u2013 Cal’s top scorer \u2013 added his sixth and seventh goals of the year with strikes at 47:17 and at 81:34. McEligot played a through ball to the striker to finish for his first goal, and on his second Lukic volleyed a pass from Park to score and make the final result 6-1.<\/p>\n
