WINFIELD, Kan. – The Ottawa men’s soccer team extended their unbeaten streak in dramatic fashion as they beat Southwestern 2-1 on Wednesday evening in Winfield.<\/p>\n

After a deadlocked and scoreless first half, Southwestern struck the first blow in the 65th minute as Jack Bagley-Etheridge found Connor Inlow for the goal. That lead would not last long, as Antonio Natalucci<\/a> tied the game up in the 77nd minute, and gave Ottawa the lead and eventually the win in the 78th, the latter goal being assisted by Arminas Gecas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ottawa led total shots 24 to six and shots on goal five to four. David Martinez<\/a> made three saves in goal for Ottawa.<\/p>\n

Ottawa (9-1-5, 8-0-2 KCAC) returns to the field on Saturday, October 25 as they host York University at AdventHealth Field.
