She was also in contention for the position with the Seattle Storm and Dallas Wings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">In contrast to organizations that are reportedly interested in coaches <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swishappeal.com\/wnba\/65733\/wnba-head-coaching-vacancies-hire-fire-liberty-brondello-wings-koclanes-storm-nba-experience-candidates-rumors-reports\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">with experience outside the WNBA<\/a>, Toronto appears to have prioritized a coach who not only is familiar with the league, but is familiar with how to win in the league. With a career winning percentage of .600, Brondello led the Phoenix Mercury to a title in her first season in charge in 2014.
