During a rare rainstorm, he meets Inma (Arjona), sparking a brief but intense connection that forces both to confront their pasts. El-Masry appears as Abdullah, a charismatic local guide whose friendship helps Sam navigate his emotional turmoil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWritten and directed by Sharrock, Alone Together is the director\u2019s follow-up to his 2020 breakout Limbo, which starred El-Masry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe project will be produced by Federica Sainte-Rose and Florian Zeller for Blue Morning Pictures. Zeller, known for Oscar-winner The Father and The Son, will produce alongside Sainte-Rose. Production is set to begin in March 2026 in Oman, using the desert landscape as the film\u2019s backdrop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSharrock made his debut with Pikadero, which premiered at the San Sebasti\u00e1n Film Festival in 2015 and went on to win several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/international\/\" id=\"auto-tag_international_1\" data-tag=\"international\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">international<\/a> awards.
