UFC 321<\/a> is upon us. Saturday night, the second of two flagship events from MMA\u2019s No. 1 promotion this month takes place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as Etihad Arena will be the setting for the last UFC show before Halloween.

\"\"<\/a>Unlike the most recent flagship events from the organization, Saturday night\u2019s show will be seen wall-to-wall on ESPN+<\/a> if you\u2019re watching from inside the United States of America. Don\u2019t even bother going to UFC Fight Pass for this week\u2019s show in the USA.<\/p>\n

If, however, you\u2019re planning on watching the undercard for UFC 321 in America by way of linear television, take note of this: Due to ESPN\u2019s telecast of College GameDay and the 12 noon ET football game between Syracuse and Virginia Tech, the undercard will be seen on FX beginning at 10 am ET\/ 7 am PT before the 2 pm ET\/ 11 am PT main card on pay-per-view.<\/p>\n

All told, if there aren\u2019t any subsequent late alterations to the schedule<\/a> on Saturday morning and afternoon, the final version of UFC 321 will feature 13 fights in Abu Dhabi. An undercard lightweight bout between Abdul-Kareem al-Sewady and Matheus Camilo was postponed<\/a> Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

UFC 321 Featured Prelim: Nasrat Haqparast vs. Quillan Salkilld<\/p>\n

At the top of the bill for the undercard, action takes place at 155 lbs as Nasrat Haqparast<\/a> (18-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC) meets Quillan Salkilld<\/a> (9-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC.) All fights mentioned herein are an advertised maximum of three rounds at five minutes per round.<\/p>\n

Haqparast will be making the walk in UFC 321 on Saturday having posted a record of 5-0 in his last five contests under the UFC banner. Back on March 1, he scored a split decision after 15 minutes of action versus Esteban Ribovics (15-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) inside the UFC Apex in Enterprise, NV.<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s UFC 321 featured prelim will be Haqparast\u2019s 15th walk to the fabled Octagon and he\u2019s on a hot streak heading into the weekend, having won six fights in succession dating back to September of 2022. When a fighter is on a hot streak, as Haqparast is right now, he\u2019s a fighter who\u2019s at his most dangerous. What\u2019ll happen here?<\/p>\n

Across the way, Quillan Salkilld has gone 5-0 as part of an ongoing nine-fight winning streak dating back to his second professional fight in the sport of MMA. Most recently, he bested Yanal Ashmouz (8-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) by way of unanimous decision on June 7 in Newark, NJ.<\/p>\n

This is only Salkilld\u2019s third UFC fight, but it\u2019s a real chance to have a resume-building victory. Only time will tell if he\u2019s able to pull it off.<\/p>\n

UFC 321 Co-Featured Prelim: Ikram Aliskerov vs. Junyong Park<\/p>\n

Immediately prior to the featured prelim, UFC 321\u2019s co-featured prelim is a middleweight encounter matching Ikram Aliskerov<\/a> (16-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) with Junyong Park<\/a> (19-6 MMA, 9-3 UFC.) Aliskerov will be making his fourth appearance in the promotion on Saturday sporting a record of 4-1 in his last five fights dating back to his contract-winning performance in 2023 on\u00a0Contender Series.<\/p>\n

Back on April 26 in Kansas City, KS, he stopped Andre Muniz (24-8 MMA, 6-4 UFC) with a first-round knockout (left hook followed by ground and pound shots) in the final seconds of the period. The Aliskerov camp has had problems with cancelled fights of late.<\/p>\n

Since the start of 2024, Aliskerov has had five fights called off without a punch thrown, including two scheduled contests vs. Muniz. This is only his second walk to the cage this year. Can he go 2-for-2 in 2025?<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Junyong Park comes into UFC 321 on Saturday with a 4-1 mark over the past five appearances. At the moment, he\u2019s won two fights in a row. This past June, he picked up a unanimous decision victory over Ismail Naurdiev (24-8 MMA, 3-3 UFC) after three rounds of action in Baku.<\/p>\n

If Park secures another win here, it\u2019ll be three in succession. Will he start a sustained winning streak on Saturday?<\/p>\n

UFC 321: Ludovit Klein vs. Mateusz Rebecki<\/p>\n

Also on UFC 321\u2019s undercard, you\u2019ll be seeing a lightweight tilt between Ludovit Klein<\/a> (23-5-1 MMA, 7-3-1 UFC) and Mateusz Rebecki<\/a> (20-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC.) Klein enters the weekend with a 4-1 record over his five latest contests.<\/p>\n

On May 31, he saw a seven-fight unbeaten streak get snapped at the UFC Apex with a unanimous decision defeat to Mateusz Gamrot (25-4, 1 NC MMA, 8-4 UFC.) Saturday\u2019s contest brings about an important career milestone for Klein, his 30th fight in the professional ranks.<\/p>\n

Is fight number 30 going to bring about his 24th career win? In the other corner, Mateusz Rebecki has a 3-2 record over the course of his five most recent bouts.<\/p>\n

Back on Aug. 2, he came out on the wrong end of a unanimous decision against Chris Duncan. By the time Saturday night rolls around, just 84 days will have passed between fights. Will the quick turnaround be helpful or a hindrance?<\/p>\n
