Austin Hill took the checkered flag in this past Sunday\u2019s Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. The story coming out of the race was not that he won, but what he did immediately after. <\/p>\n
Hill\u00a0was seen flipping the middle finger to fans in the grandstands. Hill\u2019s gesture was in response to a group of fans doing the same. Freddie Kraft, spotter for Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 team, has known Hill for a long time. He is hopeful Hill can get his attitude \u201cback on the rails\u201d for the betterment of his NASCAR<\/a> career. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve known this kid a long time. I like him a lot,\u201d Kraft said on Monday\u2019s Door Bumper Clear<\/a> podcast. \u201cIt\u2019s something that I hope he can get it back on the rails because this is not gonna fly in the Cup Series. He\u2019s not gonna be winning anywhere near this often in the Cup Series I don\u2019t think. He\u2019s inevitably going to get in one of those RCR cars I would assume.
