Kevin Porter Jr. will miss the Bucks\u2019 weekend road trip after a 1st-quarter ankle sprain on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

MILWAUKEE (AP) \u2014 Kevin Porter Jr. won\u2019t play in the Milwaukee Bucks\u2019 two-game road trip after spraining his left ankle in a season-opening victory over the Washington Wizards.<\/p>\n

Porter underwent an MRI and an evaluation from Bucks team orthopedic surgeon Carole Vetter on Thursday that confirmed the initial diagnosis of a left ankle sprain.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-5 guard won\u2019t play Friday at Toronto (6:30 ET, League Pass) or Sunday at Cleveland (6 ET, League Pass). The Bucks didn\u2019t offer any additional update on Porter\u2019s potential return.<\/p>\n

Porter, 25, scored 10 points before getting injured late in the first quarter of the Bucks\u2019 133-120 triumph<\/a> Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He averaged 11.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 30 games with Milwaukee last season after the Bucks acquired him at the trade deadline.
