Meta and TikTok are also found to have \u201cburdensome procedures and tools\u201d in place that prevent researchers from accessing public data.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Both companies are now facing fines of up to six percent of their annual worldwide revenue, pending an official ruling.
