Kardashian\u00a0revealed her diagnosis during a teaser for the seventh season of her reality show, The\u00a0Kardashians, which recently premiered on Hulu.<\/p>\n
In the clip, Kardashian said doctors found a “little aneurysm” after she received an MRI. She further stated that those doctors insinuated the condition could have been brought on by stress. Kardashian then went on to describe the stress she felt after divorcing musician Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) in 2022.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople think that I have the luxury of walking away,\u201d\u00a0Kardashian said in the clip, referring to Ye. \u201cMy ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kardashian has championed the usefulness of full body MRI scans in the past<\/a>, though some doctors advise they are not useful for all patients according to the New York Times<\/a>. <\/p>\n It was not clear whether\u00a0Kardashian\u00a0was experiencing symptoms or not. Kardashian\u2019s agent, public relations representative and attorney did not immediately respond to Reuters\u2019 requests for comment.<\/p>\n A brain aneurysm is the widening or bulging of blood vessels in the brain. If those vessels rupture, they can cause a brain bleed \u2014 also known as a hemorrhagic stroke\u00a0. According to the Mayo Clinic<\/a>, brain aneurysms are relatively common and \u2014 especially when small \u2014 are usually not life-threatening. They are often found when doctors are testing for other conditions. <\/p>\n Stress is not traditionally listed as a direct trigger for the condition. High blood pressure \u2014 which can be influenced by stress \u2014 is a risk factor for brain aneurysms, according to Johns Hopkins.<\/a><\/p>\n
