Marcus Rashford has been tasked with naming the best finisher in football history and he couldn\u2019t overlook one of his former Manchester United teammates.<\/p>\n

The connection between Marcus Rashford<\/a> and Manchester United<\/a> feels broken. The academy graduate<\/a> fell out of favour under Ruben Amorim<\/a> before being cast aside and sent on loan to Aston Villa and Barcelona.<\/p>\n

Currently on loan at Barcelona, Rashford wants to stay<\/a> and revealed previous talks to join the club earlier in his career. That sounds like there is no point of return for the England international at Old Trafford<\/a>, but it doesn\u2019t take anything away from the moment he shared with United fans<\/a> for many years.<\/p>\n

Rashford scored another Champions League brace<\/a> for Barcelona in their 6-1 win over Olympiacos during the week. The United loane<\/a>e will be aiming to go one step better when they take on Real Madrid in his first El Cl\u00e1sico meeting on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Rashford is hoping to become the first Englishman to score for Barcelona in El Cl\u00e1sico since Gary Lineker.<\/p>\n

Rashford has carried out a lot of media duties in the build-up to his first El Clasico.<\/p>\n

On top of an exclusive interview with ESPN, Rashford has done a TikTok challenge with the same outlet, naming some of the best players he has ever seen.<\/p>\n

Rashford was asked a series of questions on the best player from each category: finisher, goalkeeper, dribbler, most charismatic and the overall best player of all time. <\/p>\n

The 27-year-old was asked to name the best finisher of all time first, and he went with former United star Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a>, who recorded an incredible tally of 450 goals during his time at Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo also scored 18 goals against Barcelona during that time, which is something none of those cheering Rashford on this weekend will want to be reminded about.<\/p>\n

Only time will tell if Rashford can take any inspiration from Ronaldo when he lines up to face Los Blancos.<\/p>\n

Rashford also named former United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic<\/a> as the most charismatic player of all time. He was unable to pick between Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for the best player of all time question.<\/p>\n

Cristiano Ronaldo holds an impressive El Clasico record<\/p>\n

While Rashford will have dreams of replicating Ronaldo\u2019s El Clasico goalscoring, he has some way to go to match his 18 goals in the fixture.<\/p>\n

Ronaldo is the only player to score in six consecutive Clasicos between 2011-12 and 2012-13.<\/p>\n

That will take some beating and, in Rashford\u2019s case, would require a long-term contract at the end of his current Barcelona loan.<\/p>\n
