Hemric would come to pit road under caution overheating and pushing water, losing a lap in the process.

When the first stage of the night came to an end it would be no surprise that Heim would make his way to the lead to win the opening stage of the night over Majeski, Enfinger, Ankrum and Gray.

Hemric would get the free pass under the stage caution but an extended stop on pit road would put him a lap back down.

Caution would come out with 26 to go in the second stage when Honeycutt and Caruth were racing hard side by side before Caruth would lose it down the front stretch slamming into the outside wall in turn one.

Caruth would sit in the truck going multiple laps down before the tow truck would take him to the garage ending his race and championship chances.

“I was feeling really good about our chances, it started with the 34 missing a shift and knocking the nose off the truck. Heartbreaker for sure, it is what it is.” Said Caruth

Stage two would come to an end with Heim once again picking up the stage win over Majeski, Riggs, Enfinger and Gray.

As the night wore one, Hemric issues would continue when he would get penalized for changing lanes prior to the start finish line on the 7th restart of the night. However, Hemric would get saved from a green flag pass through when Breidinger would spin and back her truck into the wall sending Hemric to the rear of the field on the restart.

Hemric would take the green flag on the restart, yet five laps later take his truck to the garage ending his night as the second playoff driver to retire early.

With just five laps to go the 11th caution of the night would come out for Connor Jones, Jake Garcia and Dawson Sutton getting together as Corey Heim was leading Honeycutt for the lead sending the race into overtime.

Heim would clear away on the restart as Honeycutt, Crews and Riggs would fight for the second spot.

Heim would cross the line picking up his 11th victory in the 2025 campaign with Honeycutt just 4/10th a second behind followed by Riggs, Crews and Lajoie rounding out the top-five finishers.

“We’ve got a big race next week and a lot of momentum heading into Phoenix and keep our guys with their heads held high and you know what they are working on going to Phoenix. We wanted to capitalize on our day and make the most of it. I really think we had the truck we had in the spring, but once we got out front it really showed that we had something to work with here.” Said Heim

Ty Majeski, Tyler Ankrum and Kaden Honeycutt join Heim in the Championship 4 race for the 2025 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship.

“I could have easily been on the couch after July. Thanks to Stewart and Halmar, and Jimmie and all these guys at Toyota. Jimmie is another reason why I was able to drive this truck – he believed in me.” Said Honeycutt

“I worked my ass off with my dad in my garage and worked all night on racecars to get to this point. It means a lot that I even had a chance.” Continued Honeycutt

Riggs and Honeycutt tied in points at the end of the race, but the tiebreaker went to Kaden Honeycutt.

“I was dejected even when I thought we were in at first. I just don’t like racing that way. I’m hearing, ‘Gotta get one. Gotta get one.’ And everybody knows how it is. If I’ve got the opportunity to get in for my team, I’m gonna do it even if I don’t want to do it the way I do.” Said Riggs

“I would have been on the disappointed side even if we were in. It’s just really odd how it all plays out with these playoff formats, but I’m excited for the future with this race team – coming back with them and fighting for it again next year. “ Continued Riggs

The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series moves onto Phoenix Raceway next Friday, October 31st at 6:30 ET for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship Race.

[446
49,48,718,20203,634,106222,13257,43326,582,721,82,926,45332
post-238404","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-nascar","tag-ca","tag-canada","tag-craftsman-truck-series","tag-daniel-hemric","tag-nascar","tag-norm-benning","tag-october","tag-phoenix-raceway","tag-racing","tag-series","tag-sports","tag-toyota","tag-tyler-ankrum
["GET
