A music video for \u201cStronger Now\u201d from Sumo Cyco\u2018s newly released album \u201cNEON VOID\u201d has made its way out. The band\u2019s vocalist Skye Sweetnam once again took up the task of directly the clip, which is available below. The song came to be on an upright piano gifted to Sweetnam by the band\u2019s guitarist Matt Drake. Sweetnam elaborated on that:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe didn\u2019t have much money at the time. I started sitting at this piano every day, relearning skills from lessons I\u2019d taken 20 years ago. It was slow, frustrating work. Then \u2018Stronger Now\u2019 happened. I finally felt ready to step into my own power again. The crescendo hits like hope itself; it\u2019s about standing tall even when you\u2019ve been knocked down.<\/p>\n
Playing that piano pulled me back to my childhood. It reignited my connection to music and creativity.
