Lewis Hamilton believes that “P3 is kind of the perfect spot at this track” to challenge for the lead at the start of the Mexico City Grand Prix after his best Saturday Qualifying performance since joining Ferrari.<\/p>\n
The seven-time World Champion finished third quickest at the Aut\u00f3dromo Hermanos Rodr\u00edguez circuit, just over three-tenths slower than polesitter Lando Norris<\/a> and less than one-tenth behind Ferrari<\/a> team mate Charles Leclerc<\/a>.<\/p>\n It marked Hamilton’s best Qualifying performance for a Grand Prix since he joined the Scuderia at the start of 2025, having also started from pole and taken victory in the China Sprint.<\/p>\n “I’m honoured to be up here with Charles and Lando, these guys have been so quick all year and it’s an amazing feeling,” said Hamilton.<\/p>\n “This is the first time we’ve both been up in the top three in Qualifying this year and the team truly deserve it.
